Public Inspection and Public Hearing - Preliminary 2009 Township Budget

The Township of Upper St. Clair Preliminary 2009 Budget is available for public inspection on Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Office of the Township Manager and the Upper St. Clair Library, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Notice is given that there will be a public hearing regarding the Preliminary 2009 Township Budget at 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2008, in the Board of Commissioners Meeting Room, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241.

Informational and General Affairs Meetings Rescheduled

Public Hearing

The Board of Commissioners of the Township of Upper St. Clair will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 2, 2009, beginning at 7:30 p.m., or shortly thereafter, in the Board of Commissioners' Meeting Room, Upper St. Clair Township, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241, to consider the following:

PLC08-1143 - Amendment to Chapter 114 of the Code of the Township, entitled "Subdivision and Land Development" to delete the requirement for a video inspection and rating for each newly constructed storm and sanitary sewer segment as part of the following: 1) notification of completion of public and private improvements and submission of final plat, and 2) request for release of performance security; to clarify the request for acceptance of public improvements by the Township to require video inspection of the sanitary sewer only to be conducted one year following acceptance as required by Chapter 99 of the Code entitled "Public and Private Improvements;" to clarify recording of the final plat; and to correct the proof of recording clause to comply with the requirements of the Department of Real Estate of Allegheny County.

A copy of the amendment is available for public inspection at the Township Offices, address above, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. All persons wishing to be heard should appear at the above place at the time specified.

Planning Commission Informational Meetings Change

The Informational Meetings of the Planning Commission of the Township of Upper St. Clair, originally scheduled for the second Thursday of each month through December, 2006, have been permanently rescheduled to the third Thursday of each month, beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the Board of Commissioners' Conference Room, Upper St. Clair Township, 1820 McLaughlin Run Road, Upper St. Clair, PA 15241.
